I’ve been on stage many times before for spelling bees and such but tonight I have a piano competition.
I’m really nervous because I was thrust into this by my teacher and now I’m past the point of no return. I know my song, I know it well, I just don’t have the accuracy. Some parts I slow down, or mess up on, and I’m just really nervous about tonight.
What can I do to calm myself? I would keep practicing but I can play it perfectly on the keyboard, I just need practice on a grand piano, which I don’t have.
Someone, offer help, please!

I am in need of a digital piano for a decent price with great touch and sound. I play mostly classical and baroque music and have neighbors so need to plug in for my sound. I have focused my search on Kawai’s at first though I hear good things about Rolands. I definitely do not need any of the bells and whistles for those interested in performing, recording, or making it sound like anything besides a good grand piano. I was almost sold on the ES-4 Kawai last week but decided to think it through a bit more… it makes it hard that Kawai wont let their dealers quote prices over the phone as well. I have found an entire set of digital piano, bench, and stand for under ,000 so that is definitely my max …

If so, how differnet is the sound? I understand that nothing can compare to a grand piano, but is there a large difference?
